Before you can register you will need to resolve all holds on your student portal.
1. Block 2 Registration

The Degree Planner does not allow for Block 2 course registration after the Add/Drop deadline at the beginning of the semester. However, BYU-Idaho does allow for Block 2 course registration after that date. You can now request registration for Block 2 courses after registration in the Degree Planner closes by filling out the Second Block Registration form. The form can be found in the “My Plan” section of your Degree Planner. The form will be open each semester after the first week of the semester andwill close at 5:00pm Mountain Time the day before Block 2 courses begin. When the Second Block Registration form is submitted, a ticket will be generated for you with the registration request. After you have been registered for the second block, a confirmation email will be sent to you with the courses you have been registered for.There is not an estimated turnaround time to receive a confirmation email, but requests will be processed in the order they are received. NOTE: The form does not ask for specific courses because it could cause an issue if a student requested a course that filled up between submitting the form and when their request is being reviewed. All courses are subject to availability, and the requests will be evaluated with what required courses the student needs and what is available at that time. If students prefer certain courses in Block 2, it is recommended to register during the initial open registration period. After the form is submitted, the Degree Planner Team will review the student's request and degree requirements and update the Degree Planner if approved. |

You can now request registration for Block 2 courses after registration closes by filling out the Block 2 registration request form.
