Heather RoShawn Ceasar Heather RoShawn Ceasar was born to Swiney and Ella Mae Ceasar on De- cember 21,1974 in Kinder, La. The third born of five children. She was a devout Catholic and attended church regularly. Heather graduated from Washing- ton Marion Magnet High School in 1992, and went on to earn a Batchelor of Science in Biology from McNeese State University in December 1998. She moved to Houston, Tx and began her career in 2000.

Heather was an Asso- ciate Scientist at Cogenics, a Laboratory Tech- nician at ATC Associates, Inc, a Research Analyst for the Office of Research, and a Research Technician for the Infectious Disease Laboratory and the Human Genome Sequencing Cen- ter all at Baylor College of Medicine. Heather was also apart of several re- search teams in the arena of Infectious Disease with a concentration on MRSA. Her work has been cited in the American Society for Microbiology Volume 48 2004 and The Journal of Infectious Disease Vol- 191 April 1, 2005. with the Lord after a long hard fought battle with numerous health condi- tions while surrounded by her family. She fought world on her own terms just as she lived it.

John Murphy Falgout Sr. John Murphy Falgout, Sr. was admired by many as a man of strength, faith, and dedication. John was born and raised in Delcambre, Louisiana to Aurelie Joseph Falgout and Agnes Marie Babineaux. At age 18, joined the Navy and served overseas in Ts- ingtao, China on the USS Sierra. in Education and set foot- ball receiving records that stood for many years. He signed a contract with the New York Giants and was later inducted into the USL Football Hall of Fame. He then furthered his edu- cation and earned a Mas- degree in Education Administration from Mc- Neese State University. In 1953, John began an extended and successful career as a teacher, coach, and school principal span- ning from Abbeville to Vinton to Lake Charles High School. After retir- ing as Principal of LCHS, he continued to serve Cal- casieu Parish as an elect- ed School Board member for years.

He proudly served as Vice President and President of the Cal- casieu Parish School Board and later President of the Louisiana State School Board. In 1980, his hard work continued into a ful- filling second career as a consultant for Garber In- dustries. Mr. pas- sion, virtue, and dedication can be found in the count- less stories told by those whose lives he touched. John was an active mem- ber of St.

Margaret Cath- olic Church, Knights of Columbus (3rd and 4th de- gree), LA School Board As- sociation, National School Board Association, South- west Louisiana Association, LA Association, Calcasieu Ed- ucation Association, LA Education Association, National Education Asso- ciation, State and Nation- al Principals Association, TPA and Woodmen of the World Organizations, and National Association of Secondary School Princi- pals Association. He was active in Louisiana, South- west, and Calcasieu High School Athletic Associa- tions. He served in the Air Force Reserves and retired at the rank of Captain. He was honored by USL in 1987 with the Outstand- ing Alumni Award for the Class of 1952. Throughout his life he demonstrated a strong faith in God, love for his family, and an unwavering commitment to education and athletics.

Whether he was boiling crawfish, bar- becuing, playing golf, or joking and kidding with his friends and family, John instilled his virtues so that they may be carried on in the generations of his chil- dren, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mr. Falgout was welcomed into Heaven by his be- loved wife, Jennie Lee; his parents, and five siblings, Herman, Howard, Frank, Mable and Myrtis. He is also survived by five children and their spous- es: Charlene Falgout, Yvonne Chafin (Scott Chafin, John Falgout, Jr. (Kristin Falgout), Paul Falgout (Karla Falgout), and Terry Falgout, along with eighteen grandchil- dren and twenty-two great grandchildren; and a sister Lillian LeBlanc.

Mrs. Sohrwide was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church, where she taught Catechism for several years. During her younger years, she was ac- tive with Barbe Elementa- ry PTA. She enjoyed sew- ing and made many of her clothes through- out the years.

She also en- joyed cooking and having family gatherings. Mrs. Sohrwide is survived by her daughters, Dianna Guillory of Lake Charles, Carolyn Vanatta and hus- band Merritt of De- Ridder, LA, Cynthia Slay- don and husband Dane of Pitkin, LA, and Regina Brock of Oklahoma City, OK; sister-in-law, Beverly Constance of Alexandria, LA; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchil- dren; one great-great- grandchild; and her fur babies, Quick, Bunny, and Sam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Michael Sohrwide; son, Richard Michael Sohrwide, II; sons-in-law, David Guillory and Keith Brock; parents, Alexander and Emma Tennyson; and an infant brother. In her leisure time she en- joyed listening to Zydeco music, cooking, and gar- dening. Neasy enjoyed helping others and spend- ing time with her chil- dren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Neasy Cotlong-Payte was truly a blessing to be able to raise her children with good faith, strength, and integrity to pass to their children. She was preceed- ed in death by her loving father, Frank Cotlong Mother Ida Rigmaiden Cotlong; brothers, Alvin Cotlon, Anderson Cotlon. George Cotlong; son James D. Payte.
