Avelo's new nonstop flight will be the first to connect Knoxville to Connecticut. The twice-weekly flight will be seasonal, and could show Avelo whether there is demand for more flights. The airline's fleet has 16 Boeing 737 Next Generation planes, some that carry 147 passengers and some that carry 189 passengers.
