I'll tell you, this game loves trolling its players. You would have thought one troll rogue maze would be enough for this month, lol :)

I got to the lost woods thing at the end and I checked every door, all of them take you to either the bbeginning of the dungeon or to the beginning of the lost woods, but none of them allow you to exit. I don't want to have to do all of that work again, so I was wondering, do any of you know how to exit the dungeon or do you have to keep quitting until you can buy the scope to see the spirits?

Also, does doing a regular "quit" allow you to keep your items you got in the dungeon? I take it you cannot get the light/shadow increase for characters and 3 items at the end like a normal dungeon until you have enough medals to allow you to buy the scope to see the exit if that is the case.

Next time I try this I just wanna make sure I'm not doing all the work for nothing and there's not something else you have to do first.

Okay, someone at the reddit explained it to me, its safe to leave the dungeon and go back to the village. You go there and a portal door opens at the beginning, just in case anyone here has the same problem. This game just loves to put confusing stuff in, haha :)

I can already see this dungeon is one I will not be playing much, it is A LOT of work for very little payoff, and you are giving up the chance for chant scripts and treatises from how it looks, it gives you some exclusive badges, but mine have negative effects in exchange for the positive ones. It did give my Noahxis one shadow, but that was a lot of work for one shadow, lol :)

Oh well, I have a feeling they did this as a joke from the lighthearted tone of the dungeon and the cartoon characters and stuff, so I guess we can laugh with them, after all, if you can't laugh at yourself who can you laugh at? Right? :)

Wait, what? So it costs a red key and you can't even finish it until you unlock being able to actually finish by quitting before you finish, and keep doing that until you can afford to buy an item that lets you finish?

Actually, you have to complete the mission they give you which will open up a door at the village at the beginning of the maze. It is confusing because it really looks like The Lost Woods is the exit to the maze when it is an area you cannot find the exit to until later when you purchase a scope from the woman.

You are right though, you cannot finish everything at first, you just get the one thing done they tell you, then warp back to the village and leave. You have to keep doing this until you accumulate enough medals to do all the other things. It is way too much work for the payoff in my opinion.

So, basically, once you finish your mission, you cannot escape through the lost woods, instead just go to any warp point and select to go back to the village. Then you have to just leave the dungeon until you have more medals. Yep, even after paying a red key :)

I hope that was clear though, you don't actually "quit" the dungeon, but you need to warp out back to the village from the beginning and leave through a portal door that opens up. Just so you don't wonder aimlessly looking for a way out the way I did, lol :)

Ok, I can confirm that it is possible to get a chant script by holding up your souvenir pass in front of the vending machines at the end, I just got one on my second run. Also, I used my 10 toto medals to purchase a scope from the woman. At the lost woods the scope does not guarantee you making it to the end, you still must solve the riddles on the wooden sign, when you make it to the end there is a yellow slab you can place in a slot on the stone plaque, and a beehive that says "there is something with the bees but you can't shoo them away" or something like that. I'm not sure how you are supposed to get the bees out of the way because I left the dungeon after that, but that must be something that comes later.

I feel like this is Ruins of Ruycana meets the Timetwister Maze, lol! :)

Yes the basic mechanics are very much like Rucyana Sands AD (inc. how you exit ;) with some extras on top that we're (or I am at least!) yet to figure out.
Wondering which order to purchase things with medals with... Based on what you're saying it may not be those spirit scopes? Must say I'll be tempted to get rid of the poisoned passages asap.

It's Ruins of Rucyana AD revamped - costing one red key instead of 2 green.
As you do more runs you'll unlock QoL items that'll make subsequent runs faster.
Just like Rucyana has a treasure room with 3 colour coded chests that you need to unlock with a key found somewhere on the map, Toto's Theatre has 3 colour coded vending machines and you'll find a ticket for them on the map too. White for chant scripts here too.
Where it differs is that instead of 1 of 3 random maps you need to progress from one world to another by buying items that'll unlock stuff (as you can tell, I'm not there yet!!).
Added bonus is that any non-gacha character can gain L/S from this AD - inc. Mana and Sophia.
The altema page may be helpful if only for the map https://altema.jp/anaden/tototheatreland

It's actually less of a pain than Rucyana was initially as there are now plenty of characters who'll dispatch those mobs and mimics and horrors in one turn.

Oh, this is the "l/s for all" dungeon? Crap. I hated ruins.
