I feel so lucky that I was able to see Hamilton on Broadwayin July when I was in New York, and I’ve been a huge fan of Lin-Manuel Miranda for a long time before that!

So a few days ago I combined my obsessions to make some Hamilton pumpkin carving patterns!

I’m not a expert, so I promise that they’re all very simple. You can curlout the outline with a linoleum cutter or you can punch theentire shape out with a strong serrated knife.

However you decide to use them, these Hamilton pumpkin carving stencils will make your pumpkin look unique and amazing. Best of all they’re free and available right here!

I metwith a real master pumpkin carver just last week and he said that graphite transfer paper is the best for tracing your pumpkin stencil onto your pumpkin.

He also said that thelinoleum cutter andquality serrated knifethat I already mentioned are two of the best tools for creating your jack-o-lantern!

These pumpkin carving tools would work great for your Hamiltonpumpkin stencils:

You’re also going to need safe lighting for inside your amazing pumpkin! The master pumpkin carver recommended one of theselight bulbs on a cord for bringing out thebrightest illumination from within the pumpkin. This one is only $3.99. It’s made by 3M and I’m guessing it will last for several years.

If you don’t have an outlet or if you’d rather go the battery-operated route, here are more options for lighting your pumpkin:
