CBC UNVEILS WINTER 2024 SLATE FEATURING MORE THAN 20 SERIES FROM CANADIAN STORYTELLERS

CBC’s acclaimed original comedy lineup returns on January 9 with new series ONE MORE TIME, a workplace comedy about a second-hand sporting goods store created by and starring stand-up comedian D.J. Demers, alongside new seasons of comedy hits RUN THE BURBS and SON OF A CRITCH

Jason Priestley joins the cast of new Vancouver-set drama WILD CARDS (Jan. 10),
a crime-solving procedural with a comedic twist that follows the unlikely duo of a by-the-book, sardonic cop (Giacomo Gianniotti) and a clever con woman (Vanessa Morgan)

Supinder Wraich and Enrico Colantoni star in ALLEGIANCE (Feb. 7), a character-driven police drama set in Surrey, BC about identity and belonging, policing and politics, and finding truth within the heart of a flawed justice system

CBC’s winter factual entertainment will feature even more people and communities from across Canada including new unscripted comedy GHOSTING WITH LUKE HUTCHIE AND MATTHEW FINLAN (Jan. 26 on CBC Gem), venturing into some of Ontario’s most haunted places, and THE GREAT CANADIAN POTTERY THROW DOWN (Feb. 8), a new competition to find Canada’s Top Potter hosted by Jennifer Robertson with guest judge Seth Rogen, joining new seasons of BEST IN MINIATURE (Dec. 26), BOLLYWED (Jan. 14) and PUSH (Jan. 14)
