As a Modern Day Rosie, Carol Murray serves as the leader of a team of nine for the 72d Logistics Readiness Squadron’s Commander’s Support Staff. Her responsibilities entail overseeing a diverse array of tasks including personnel management, budgeting, security, safety, emergency management, and providing administrative support for a workforce consisting of 230 civilian, military, and contractor personnel. Inspired by her marriage to a US Marine Corps veteran, she actively pursued employment within the military sphere to bolster its support systems and contribute to the overall safety of the nation. With a career spanning 37 years in civil service, she firmly believes in the crucial role women play across all sectors of the workforce.
